Welcome to AsterPay. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AsterPay services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Services

AsterPay provides a payment infrastructure that enables businesses to accept cryptocurrency payments. Our services include:

Payment processing via blockchain networks
HD wallet generation for payment collection
Automatic fund sweeping to your designated wallet
Dashboard for payment management
API access for integration

3. Eligibility

To use AsterPay, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable law
Provide accurate and complete information

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Keeping your payout wallet address accurate and up-to-date

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AsterPay for:

Illegal activities or transactions
Money laundering or terrorist financing
Fraud or deceptive practices
Gambling (unless properly licensed)
Adult content or services
Weapons, drugs, or controlled substances
Any activity that violates applicable laws

6. Fees and Payments

Our fee structure:

Standard fee: 1.0% per transaction
With $ASTERPAY token: 0.25% per transaction (50% discount)
No monthly fees: Pay only for successful transactions
No minimum volume: Start accepting payments immediately

Note: The $ASTERPAY token is optional. You can use AsterPay services without holding any tokens. Token ownership provides a fee discount but is not required.

Fees are automatically deducted from each transaction before funds are transferred to your payout wallet.

7. Blockchain Risks

You acknowledge and accept the risks associated with blockchain technology:

Transaction irreversibility
Network congestion and delays
Cryptocurrency price volatility
Smart contract vulnerabilities
Wallet security risks

8. Non-Custodial Nature

AsterPay operates as a non-custodial service. We do not hold your funds beyond the time necessary to process transactions and sweep to your payout wallet. You are responsible for the security of your own wallets.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

AsterPay is provided "as is" without warranties
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the past 12 months
We are not responsible for blockchain network issues or third-party services

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AsterPay from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms
We detect suspicious or fraudulent activity
Required by law or regulatory authority
We discontinue the service

You may close your account at any time. Pending transactions will be completed, and remaining funds swept to your payout wallet.

12. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of AsterPay after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or dashboard notification.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration within the EU, or in the competent courts of the applicable EU jurisdiction.
